• Supplemental Movie - Movie 1: This sequence shows GFP fluorescent GnRH neurons moving through the nasal compartment over a 6-h period. An image was taken every 5 min. The cribriform plate would be located out of view at the top of the image.
• Supplemental Movie - Movie 2: This sequence shows GFP fluorescent GnRH neurons moving across the cribriform plate and into the brain over a 4-h period. An image was taken every 5 min. The cribriform plate would be located to the right of the image. The cell to the left extends a searching process and finally turns toward the basal forebrain (toward top of the image). The cell to the right emerges from the cribriform plate region and then reverses direction.
• Supplemental Movie - Movie 3: This sequence shows GFP fluorescent GnRH neurons moving across the cribriform plate and into the brain over a 3-h period. An image was taken every 5 min. The cribriform plate would be located out of view well to the right of the image. Several cells are noted in multiple focal planes. However, only 2 cells are seen moving caudally (to the left).
