• Supplemental Figure S1 - Buserelin-induced biosynthesis of ATF3 in virus-infected αT3-1 gonadotrophs
  αT3-1 cells were "mock-infected" as described in the "Methods" section, infected with a lentivirus that did not encode for a recombinant protein (using pFUW as transfer vector), or infected with a recombinant lentivirus encoding β-galactosidase (β-Gal). The cells were serumstarved for twenty-four hours and then treated with buserelin (10 nM) for 2 hours. Nuclear extracts were prepared and subjected to Western blot analysis using antibodies directed against ATF3. As a control, the expression of Sp1 was assessed.
