Institutional Subscriptions

For the most part, an Institutional Online Subscription authorizes use at a localized site. A "site" is an organizational unit, and may be academic or nonacademic. For organizations located in more than one city, each city office is considered a different site. For organizations within the same city that are administered independently, each office is considered a different site.

For example, each campus in the State University of New York system is considered a different site, and each branch or office of UpJohn Laboratories is considered a different site.

Individuals who are not ES members may subscribe at the Individual (Non-Member) level, at the nonmember level, or may want to consider applying for ES membership.

Ordering Procedure

Subscribing to The Endocrine Society's Journals is a two step process:

First, you must follow your usual "new serial" ordering procedures to subscribe to the print version of Endocrine Journals or the online only version. Payment should be made to your subscription agent or directly to The Endocrine Society.

Second, once your serial vendor or TES has received payment, and your order has been processed you can register online. You will be asked to provide the following information to activate your online subscription:

Institution's IP Address(es)
[CRITICAL INFORMATION ABOUT IP ADDRESSES -- READ THIS]

Contact name, title, phone, fax, and email

Customer number (included with the letter)

You can register online after we verify payment. Your institution will not have access to the full Endocrine Journals Online until you complete this second step.

If you are having access problems...

Access to The Endocrine Society's Journals Online is now available to print subscribers. A letter has been sent out instructing subscribers on how to sign on to the online journal. If you are having difficulties in accessing the material, please read the following instructions:

If you are subscribing to Endocrine Journals directly through The Endocrine Society (not using a book agent), please give us a call at 301-941-0210 or fax us at 301-941-0257 and we will try to assist you. Make sure that you have your subscription ID number.

If you are subscribing through a book agent and the issues are being shipped directly to your address, please contact us and we will try to assist you. Make sure that you have your subscriber ID number.

If you are subscribing through a book agent and the issues are being sent to them at their collection place, please call your book agent and ask them to provide us with documentation that identifies you as a subscriber. Without documentation, you will not be identified as a paid subscriber and we will not be able to help you from our office.
